Stay Connected Through Your Annual UMAA Membership

Your Urasenke Midorikai Alumni Association membership keeps you connected to fellow Midorikai alumni as we continue our study and practice of chado, and to strive to uphold the timeless principles of Urasenke in the 21st century.

Note: Please click the button below to join UMAA. You will be first asked to create an account on Midorikai.org. Once you have logged into your account, you will be able to purchase an annual UMAA membership for $25.

UMAA memberships last one year and renew based on the date of purchase.

UMAA membership is voluntary. A Urasenke Midorikai Alumni Association member is defined as:

• Anyone who completed a minimum of one year at Midorikai as a teacher or student.

• Anyone who attended Midorikai on a short-term basis.

• Friends of UMAA: Anyone who has not attended the Midorikai program but wants to support the UMAA mission. (Some activities for members may not be available for Friends of UMAA)
